Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 29, 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in 2 ways: directly from you when you contact us, and automatically through privacy-friendly website analytics.

Information you give us. When you contact us or request a quote through our website, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, email address, phone number, service address, city, a description of your bee situation, and any photos you attach. Photos you send reach us as email attachments. We do not store them in any separate photo or file storage system.

Information collected automatically. Our website keeps basic, aggregate analytics about site traffic so we can understand which pages visitors find useful. For each visit we store only: the page path, the date and time, a general traffic category (for example search, social, direct, or a referral from an AI assistant), the specific source where applicable, a 2-letter country code, the device type (mobile or desktop), and whether the visit appears to come from an automated bot. This analytics is cookieless. We do not store your IP address, we do not set tracking cookies, and we do not store any per-user or session identifier. Your browser's user agent and the page that referred you are read briefly only to sort the visit into the categories above, and are then discarded. Because every record is aggregate, no analytics record identifies you as an individual.

2. IP Address Used for Spam Prevention

When you submit our contact form, our system briefly reads your IP address for a single limited purpose: to prevent spam and abuse by limiting how many times the form can be submitted from the same source (no more than 5 submissions in any 10 minute window). This IP address is held in a temporary cache for about 20 minutes, then automatically expires and is deleted. It is never written to our database, never placed in any report, and is not used to identify or track you. We process it on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of abuse.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule and perform bee removal services, communicate with you about your service, and follow up on completed work. To deliver these services we may notify our team by email and text message about your request. We do not sell, rent, or trade the contact information you provide, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers (for example website hosting, database, email, and text-messaging services) to operate our site and deliver our services. These providers may process your information only to perform work on our behalf, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

5. Cookies, Advertising, and Analytics

Our own website analytics is cookieless and aggregate, as described in Section 1. It counts page landings, it does not measure how long you spend on the site, and it does not build a profile of your browsing.

We also use Google Tag Manager to run advertising, conversion, and measurement tags from our advertising partners, which may include Google and other platforms. These tags may set cookies and collect information to measure and improve our advertising. We do not control the data practices of those third-party platforms, and this policy does not cover them. Please see their own privacy policies for details. You can limit or opt out of advertising cookies through your browser settings and through the opt-out tools the advertising platforms provide. See Section 8 for more on your choices.

6. Data Retention

We keep the contact information you submit only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide the service you requested, and meet ordinary business and recordkeeping needs, after which we delete or archive it. Aggregate analytics records contain no personal identifiers and may be kept for general traffic reporting. The temporary IP address used for spam prevention expires automatically after about 20 minutes.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Contact form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in systems with appropriate access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you certain rights over your personal information: the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you, the right to request deletion of personal information we collected from you, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. We do use third-party advertising and measurement tags, described in Section 5, which California law may treat as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of advertising cookies by adjusting your browser settings or by using the opt-out tools the advertising platforms provide. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We will verify your request before acting on it, as the law allows.

9. Your Privacy Rights in the EEA and the United Kingdom (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information on the following lawful bases: your consent, and our need to take steps at your request, when you submit the contact form; our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse for the temporary IP address described above; and our legitimate interest in understanding site traffic for the cookieless, aggregate analytics described above. We do not serve the advertising and measurement cookies described in Section 5 to visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to request erasure, and to object to processing we carry out on the basis of legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Contact
